Chess is all about strategy and knowing when to make the perfect move. This free downloadable worksheet will help your young chess player learn how to checkmate their opponent's king using just a king and a queen of their own. They'll learn the strategy using the descriptive sample boards. Then, they'll then get an opportunity to show what they know as they tell what the queen's next move should be as she tries to checkmate the opponent's king on the sample practice board.
